Ask the shop
Before you spend this much.
These start above ₱15,000. The right question is whether your games actually run well in your hands, not on a spec list.
- Your library. Bring two or three PC games you already own. Ask the shop to open them so you can see the picture and the frame rate.
- Storage. A PC handheld fills up quickly. Ask how much space is free, and what a larger drive would cost, before you pay.
- Heat, noise and weight. Play for several minutes. A machine that is fine on a desk can be tiring on a commute.
- Controls. Sticks, bumpers and the keyboard or touch method are part of the price. If a game needs a mouse, try that here.
- Power. Ask how long a charge lasts in the kind of game you play, and whether a spare charger is in stock.
- If the PC library is not the point. An Android handheld is lighter and costs less. Start on that page if PSP and ports are enough.
Questions
Can the shop set it up?
Yes. Tell them which store your games are in. Setup time is quoted when you visit or when you email.
What if it needs a repair?
Repairs are handled in Manila, with a 1-year service warranty and a 7-day replacement. Ask for the terms before you pay.
